Spotify Welcomes Digital Voice Narrated Audiobooks from ElevenLabs via Findaway Voices

Findaway Voices now supports upload and select distribution of digitally narrated audiobooks from ElevenLabs, bringing more titles to listeners on Spotify and other retailers.

Exciting news for audiobook authors: starting today, Findaway Voices accepting audiobooks from ElevenLabs, a best-in-class AI narration platform, to bring even more audiobooks to listeners. One of our most requested features - we're now accepting uploads of digital voice narrated audiobooks created with ElevenLabs for distribution to Spotify as well as seven other retailers that accept digital voice narration files. 

While we firmly believe in the irreplaceable power of human narration, we also recognize the potential of AI-narration to grow and expand the audiobook market. For example, we’ve heard from countless independent authors with large catalogs of backlist titles that might not be feasible to produce due to budget constraints or limited production resources — with digital voice narration, these stories now have a chance to be heard. Digital voice narration opens doors for more stories to be shared and helps grow the overall audiobook catalog, bringing in new listeners along the way.

What does this mean for you?

For authors looking for a cost-effective way to create high-quality audiobooks, ElevenLabs is a great option. Their digital voices are top quality, their platform is easy to use, and authors can narrate their audiobooks in 29 languages, with complete control over voice and intonation.

Here's how it works:

1. Create your digital voice narrated audiobook using ElevenLabs.
2. Download the LPF file from ElevenLabs.
3. Create a Findaway Voices account (if you don't already have one).
4. Upload your LPF file to Findaway Voices.
5. Upon standard title verification by the Voices team, your title will be distributed to Spotify and our other digital voice narration-supporting retail partners.

All digitally narrated titles will be clearly marked in the metadata on Spotify and all retailers where Findaway Voices distributes. The book description will be prepended with the first sentence stating “This audiobook is narrated by a digital voice.”

Findaway Voices currently also accepts digital voice-narrated files from Google Play Books.
