US-based Findaway Voices shortlisted in the London Book Fair International Excellence Awards 2021
The London Book Fair International Excellence Awards 2021, held in partnership with the Publishers Association, have announced today that Findaway Voices is one of three entries shortlisted for the Audiobook Publisher Award.
While not necessarily thought of as a ‘traditional’ audiobook publisher, Findaway Voices was shortlisted within the “Audiobook Publisher Award” category where a key criterion for jurors of this award is “innovation in audiobook publishing,” and have “created significant impact, resulting in critical acclaim, high sales, and PR coverage, or have demonstrated a new business model or business innovation.” The award is open to any audiobook company, or division of a global company, specialist company division, or organization, specialized in audiobook publishing. The award looks for nominees “whose scope of achievement is predominantly outside the UK.”
Since its inception in 2017, the Findaway Voices platform has empowered thousands of independent authors and publishers to create and distribute audiobooks to a wide international market of retailers and libraries.
"Everyone at Findaway Voices is dedicated to helping authors bring their stories to the ears of listeners and we're delighted to be shortlisted for the Audiobook Publisher Award,” said Will Dages, Head of Findaway Voices. “A sincere thank you to the London Book Fair International Excellence Awards 2021 for recognizing our efforts to provide independent authors a platform for their audiobooks."
