This new chapter brings a refreshed look that aligns us with Spotify and its commitment to bringing the best tools to creators around the world. We're also excited to announce a new partnership with Kickstarter to make it easier for authors to crowdfund their next audiobook project! Through this collaboration, authors can provide free Spotify redemption codes to backers of their next audiobook project.
A Kickstarter project creates a built-in audience of engaged fans who want to listen to the audiobook as soon as it's available. As a distribution partner, we will provide the author with redemption codes when they publish their completed audiobook on Spotify. The partnership with Kickstarter provides a new way for indie authors to tap into crowdfunding, build an early fanbase, and give backers a seamless listening experience.
Through the partnership, we’ll also be working with Kickstarter to create a library of case studies, tips, and resources to help authors understand the value of crowdfunding and how to navigate running Kickstarter campaigns of their own.
