Findaway Voices is excited to begin offering distribution to Storytel in early 2019, helping your audiobook reach an even larger global audience.

This year just keeps getting better and better for self-published authors with audiobooks. We're thrilled to announce that we've added Storytel to the Findaway Voices distribution network. Storytel's innovation in the audiobook industry has popularized the format to more than 750,000 paying subscribers across 15 countries, including an official launch in Bulgaria just this week, plus Brazil and Singapore coming soon.

Storytel offers an unlimited listening platform to consumers, letting them enjoy as many audiobooks as they'd like for one monthly payment, which varies from region to region. To a subscriber, it's an all-you-can-listen smorgasbord of books. To authors, Storytel sells audiobooks under the Pool Subscription model, so you are paid based on your share of listening in the pool.

Many of the countries where Storytel operates have established themselves as audio-first digital book markets, where listening is the preferred and most popular way to enjoy a digital book. If your eBook hasn't performed well in some of these regions, you might find surprising success with your audiobook.

For existing customers, we've updated our Digital Distribution Agreement to reflect the new distribution option and all the payout and business model details. You can find the updated agreement on your My Account page.

If you're already distributing an audiobook with Findaway Voices, you'll find Storytel is already on your audiobook's distribution selection page. There's nothing you need to do. We'll start sending your audiobook to Storytel as soon as our integration goes live in early 2019.

If you'd like to opt out of sending your audiobook to Storytel, you can adjust your selections on the website and republish. If your audiobook is already reaching Storytel and you'd like your sales to start flowing through Findaway Voices, please contact us and we'll be happy to help.
